Amak Mahmoodian RRB, 2016. This book uses the aesthetics of Shenasnameh, an official Birth Certificate of a person, to discuss the representation of women in Iran. The official document shows the full name, a photograph and other information to do with the identity of a person during her lifetime. This extensive body of work, made over the last 4 years, compiles a series of 39 portraits of women, finger prints and rejected photographs transforming the nature of the document. ​Scarce!
