Description
ICA, 1994. Slim paperback. Chauncey Hare, Standard Oil engineer turned documentary photographer. Catalog for an ICA Boston exhibition. Hare laments on the state of photography as he cuts all ties and goes to work for the Environmental Protection Agency. Photographs here reminiscent of Bill Owens and Lee Friedlander showcasing the casual oppression of capitalism. Also a suite of transit portraits aboard SF BART trains. Scarce.
