Bruce Pavlow, 2011. Survival House was a halfway house in San Francisco for homeless gay and transgendered people in the late 1970s. Located on Haight Street, the house provided survival services and supportive environment for gay people who had fallen through the social safety net and had nowhere else to go. Interviews and portraits reminiscent of Ken Miller and Jim Goldberg. Good with wear to covers.
