Description
A Deck of Hands is a fully handmade deck of cards by Kalie McGuirl that explores symbol based communication and alternative printing processed. The card designs are entirely symbol based and show numerical values through fingers and hands. The four suits are moons, stars, rainclouds, and scissors. The card fronts are risograph printed; the backs are screenprinted. Each box is a unique cyanotype print. The nature of alternative printing processes means that each deck has small imperfections and is one of a kind. Edition of 15 decks.
